    Suthangan Thanabalasingam

    DIRECTOR OF CRICKET

    Sutha Thanabalasingam is a Level 3 Accredited Cricket coach appointed by Cricket Australia with 15 years of coaching experience. He currently serves as the Director of Coaching (Head Coach and 1st Grade Coach) at the University of New South Wales (UNSWCC) and previously coached UNSWCC Green Shield for 6 years.

    With a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science and a Masters in Teaching, Sutha is dedicated to unlocking each player’s full potential through his innovative approach to Instinct Cricket. Come for the skills, stay for the transformation Sutha inspires.

  • Tarik

    Tarik Viswasam

    SENIOR PATHWAY COACH

    Tarik Viswasam is a Level 2 Accredited Cricket Coach appointed by Cricket Australia with 10 years of coaching experience. He currently serves as the Green Shield Head Coach at the University of New South Wales Cricket Club (UNSWCC) and as the Master in Charge of Cricket at Sydney Grammar Preparatory School (Edgecliff).

    Tarik holds a Diploma in Sports Development for Cricket and has previously worked with Cricket NSW as a development officer. As an all-rounder, Tarik currently plays for UNSWCC and has an 8-year history with Blacktown-Mounties Cricket Club (formerly Blacktown Grade Cricket Club).

    Nikethan Radhakrishnan

    SENIOR PATHWAY COACH (WICKET KEEPING SPECIALIST)

    Nikethan is Instinct Cricket’s Senior Pathway Coach, specialising in First Grade-level wicketkeeping and batting development. He has played First Grade cricket in the Tasmanian Premier Cricket competition and now continues his First Grade career with UNSW Cricket Club in NSW Premier Cricket.

    Nikethan’s coaching philosophy focuses on building strong technical foundations and instilling high-performance habits, with an emphasis on wicketkeeping and batting under pressure. He is dedicated to nurturing young players and equipping them with the skills, mindset, and resilience needed to progress to First Grade and beyond.

    Uddy Biyanwila

    JUNIOP PATHWAY COACH

    With 6 years experience coaching junior cricketers of all ages (5-18 years of age). Uddy is passionate about developing skills and confidence in Cricket for young aspiring cricketers. A coach in both private schools and in private coaching. Uddy has over 20 years playing, coaching and teaching the game.

    Uddy specialises in programming young cricketers and developing a framework to achieve their goals whether in school sides, representative honours or just for a more enjoyable experience playing cricket. Uddy specialises in one on one and team coaching. Uddy is a former school and grade cricketer. He currently enjoys the teaching and mentoring aspect cricket facilitates in creating good people and students on and off the cricket field.

    Tjayden Newman

    JUNIOR PATHWAY COACH

    Tjayden Newman (TJ) is a Level 1 Accredited Cricket coach appointed by Cricket Australia. With 13 years of playing experience and 3 years of coaching experience, he specialises in fast bowling and batting. Tjayden is dedicated to forming healthy relationships with players to aid their skill and strategy development. His coaching style is grounded in building from the basics, focusing on turning potential weaknesses into strengths for a well-rounded game. He provides individualized attention and emphasises team dynamics.

    Vibhu Karthikeyan

    JUNIOR PATHWAY COACH

    Vibhu is a dedicated Junior Pathway Coach at Instinct Cricket, specialising in spin bowling and batting development. He currently plays First Grade cricket for Sydney Cricket Club in the NSW Premier Cricket competition, bringing elite-level playing experience to his coaching.

    Vibhu is passionate about helping players master the technical and tactical aspects of spin bowling and batting, with a focus on developing adaptable, confident cricketers. His coaching philosophy centres on creating a positive learning environment where players are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
